I just added a bunch of drawings from my figure drawing class this past semester. A lot of them are quick gestures that aren't completely refined, but I feel that they're a big part of drawing and wanted to include them in my gallery.
I entered the student art show at my college. All five pieces I entered got in ("Jim", "Nude Female on Ladder", "Music Present and Past", and a graphic design project that was done with two other people.) Nude Femal on Ladder won an honorable mention, and a poster I designed for the show got 3rd place.
I took a painting class also this semester, but that didn't go as well as I hoped..lol. I'm taking the second part of the class though, and I'm also going to take a portrait class to improve. I think I've decided I'm going to transfer to a 4 year school (I'm at a community college now) and go into Art Education..hopefully I'll be able to do that...
